TAMPA, Fla. (March 2, 2007) -Heading into the 40th "War on I-4," Predators head coach Jay Gruden was anticipating a hard-fought, tight game against Orlando's biggest rivals. Instead he got to see a laugher, as the Predators opened the 2007 season with a more than convincing 52-27 win over the Storm. "What can I say, it seemed like everyone on this team came up big tonight," Gruden said. "Shane Stafford did a great job in his first game with us, DeAndrew Rubin was big, Javarus Dudley was big, Greg White was big. It goes on and on." The Predators used two defensive stops and jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the game and never looked back. Thanks to kicking problems by Tampa Bay's Bill Gramatica (four missed extra points) and a tenacious Predators defense, Tampa Bay could never get any closer than nine points in the second half.

NOW PLAYING
In this vision of the future, the bulk of the globe is frozen over in a new ice age, and two large military factions -- the European Union and the Russo-Asian PAC -- are playing tug of war over the remaining strips of habitable land. In gaming terms, this translates to fighting on a variety of battlefields for control of specific points on the map. In the standard game type, Conquest, things are much the same as they've been since Battlefield 1942 -- capture as many points as possible and kill as many enemy troops as possible in hopes of depleting the other side's stock of "tickets," representing the number of times each side can bring a fresh soldier into play. But for once, that's not the only way to play. One of the technological achievements is the Titan, an enormous floating war fortress that's protected by an energy shield and acts as both a heavy-weapons platform and a staging area for each faction's assault.
