| Mason Ends JMU’s Season
Madisons 2006-07 season, which was disappointing even with expectations relatively low, ended with the Dukes (7-23) on a seven-game losing streak. They also lost 11 of their last 12 contests. The good news for Madison, however, is that it loses nothing and gains plenty. There was no senior watching his career flash before his eyes Friday night, and the Dukes add three transfers, including heralded guard Abdulai Jalloh for 2007-08. "Obviously, we all play basketball and no one wants to stop," freshman point guard Pierre Curtis said. "Once the season ends, that means were not playing basketball competitively any more. It hurts, but at the same time, we know we have everyone coming back. Were adding some pieces. For me, Im like, upset because my seasons over, but excited for the new one and ready for the new one." Curtis led the Dukes with 16 points and six assists while Posey knocked down five 3-pointers for 15 points.
